Each Other Company is a Jakarta-based design and research studio. With a focus on strategic branding, we engaged in partnerships with people, businesses and communities across the realms of culture, commerce and education. Being media-agnostic, our work is communicating through any print, environmental and screen-based modes.
Recent commissions include the exhibition design and publicity for Earth Dwelling (Maison&Objet, Paris) and Dialogue with the Senses (Galeria Fatahillah, Jakarta); installation design for Indonesia Fashion Forward 2016; visual identities for Value Prism Corporation (ARTJOG, Yogyakarta), Wonders of Weaving, and Two Hands Full; books for documentary photographer Andri Tambunan; ongoing collaboration with fbudi, BYO Living, and Baraka Nusantara.
The scope of our work often includes consultancy which allows us to build intelligent and effective design responses with a strategic perspective within the scope of different media. We believes that design has the power to contribute to progress, foster discussion, and facilitate change.
Various works have been featured on Asia-Pacific Design, BBC Indonesia, Desain Grafis Indonesia, International Society of Typographic Designers, Koran Tempo, Sandu Publishing, Quipsologies, and more.

Our interests in exploring and challenging the role of design in the society has led us to participate in talks on design related subjects including at Informatics and Business Institute of Stikom (Surabaya) and University of Persada Indonesia Y.A.I (Jakarta), as well as experimental workshop Beautiful Mess (Dia.Lo.Gue Artspace, Jakarta). Currently, we are working to launch Other Practice, a production and research unit creating various formats and activities intended to foster essential discussions within design and cultural context.
